Many thanks for a well-organized race yesterday. Course was well-marked and easy to follow. Passing both ways on the single-track was challenging, and segment loops might be better than out-and-back courses but it was lots of fun regardless. Results and pictures the next day after the race is great! Suggest a DSLR camera for action shots to avoid blur. Looking forward to the next one...

G2: I would love a DSLR or perhaps it is just the photographer? Thank you for your feedback. We agree that passing both ways on the single-track was challenging but having run out-and-back courses, we thought the camaraderie of seeing everyone along the way kept everyone motivated. See you out there again!

Photographer was great, finish line setup worked well, and pictures are well-appreciated!
Out-and-back was certainly more 'intimate' but it works better on fire roads or wider trails (or perhaps in longer races when there's less of a crowd). The unavoidable contact and near-miss ankle twists on the single-track wasn't worth the benefit of seeing runners coming in the opposite direction.
Still, this race was great and I look forward to including more CTR events in my race schedule!

What is the software you used to create the GPS track, and how does one download a gpx or kml file from this? Thanks.
