Does anyone have a suggestion of what might be a good thing to use to not get the 'shivers' after a run (right after). The marathon will be my longest run so far and I know I get cold after my shorter runs. I thought a sweatshirt and beanie afterward until I can hit a shower, but what do you think about those space blankets that some marathons pass out? Does anyone know if CTR has these? I've done runs with them in the past and have not seen them. Thanx!

The best thing to do is to get out of your wet, sweaty clothes ASAP (shirt, running bra etc) and change into dry, warm clothes. Best of luck at your run.

Space blanket is of no use because you still have the loss of body heat. A hooded sweatshirt is your best solution for slowing the loss of body heat.

When I've gotten chills right after a race, I've added a couple extra layers and also gotten some hot soup. Warm from the inside and insulate to keep it in, I guess.
