I'll understand if this board's Admins delete this as spam, but I have no financial or economic interest in what follows.
RaceRaves dot com is like Yelp for runners, featuring reviews of races. Its database has races from all over the world, including many that are in the SF Bay Area. Not all of the races in the database have been reviewed yet, and that is true of many of Coastal Trail Runs' races. I've written reviews of the two Coastal races I've done, but one, Spring Quarry Lakes, was not run in 2015. I'd like to urge folks that have done some of Coastal's races to write reviews so that word gets out about some really good races and a really good organizer.

No problem, PeteS. Yes, we just have Zoom Quarry Lakes in June, now. Same event as Spring.

Also in December. The park is really pretty around sunrise. Alameda Creek Trail is just OK as trails go, but I'll take it over central San Jose, which is used by RnR, the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot, and the 408K. I did your Turkey Trot last year, because I knew Coyote Creek Trail is really nice, and Hellyer Park, the trail, and Coastal/Zoom did not disappoint.
While I'm "advertising" your events, I'm considering your ZombieRunner Halloween event. I use the Los Gatos Creek Trail a lot, and your start/finish area is less than 10 minutes' drive from my home. I'm a bit concerned about my skills on some of the single-track sections of the Flume Trail, where the trail is sort of notched into a steep hillside. The 5-mile distance doesn't go up to Lexington Dam, but it's the Flume and Jones Trails up to the dam that are the most beautiful. I love those trails, it's just being passed and two-way traffic that have me concerned.
Thanks for understanding my intent. I know that when you and your competitors do well your runner and walker customers benefit, too.
